Framed by beautiful copper beeches Gateham Grange nestles at the foot of Wetton Hill. Ideal central location for visiting many historic houses including Chatsworth, Tissington Hall, Haddon Hall and Sudbury Hall and Museum of Childhood. Perfect for walkers with dale walks from the door and for cycling Manifold cycle trail is just down the road. Pavilion Gardens and Opera House at Buxton, Carsington Water Alton Towers all close by.
With quaint market towns and farmers' markets there's something for everyone.
We offer 2 comfortable cottages each sleeping 2-6 persons. Ideal for couples and spacious enough for families also. The cottages can be booked separately or together.

The cottage originally formed part of our long old limestone farmhouse dated around 1830, but now offers lovely self-contained accommodation
The cottage comprises:-
• Pretty pine furnished bedrooms, one double and a spacious twin.
• The upstairs sitting room (with sofa bed) overlooks the garden
• The bathroom is downstairs and has a bath with shower over.
• For 2012 we had a new fully equipped fitted kitchen in the kitchen/diner with the added benefit of an integrated dishwasher.
• We have free WiFi available in this cottage
• Ample parking, sitting out area, lawns for children to play on
Washing machine and drier available in farmhouse utility on request.
Living on the farm we are on site should you need anything.
We will show you around the cottage on arrival and carry out a customer care check the following day.

"Hidden gem”
The cottage is is like a small farmhouse tagged onto the end of the main farmhouse. Very quiet and private, nice little garden and patio area. Its a five minute drive to Hartington, where you can shop at the lovely village stores and the pubs serve excellent meals. In the other direction nearby Alstonfield is a pretty village with a good pub. We walked a lot, and you are straight out of the door onto the hills. The main living room is on the first floor with the bedrooms. The kitchen and bathroom on the groundflloor. It actually works very well and the style and decor is homely and unpretentious. We loved it and will go back next year. There were three of us staying, my partner and her mum. Still enjoyed it!

Known as the 'Gateway to the Peak District' Ashbourne is a market town in Derbyshire, England. It is situated near to Kniveton, Parwich, Ilam, and Hulland Ward and is one of over fifty towns and villages in Derbyshire in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest main cities are Derby (population 229,407), Sheffield (population 439,866), and Nottingham (which has a population of 249,584 according to the 2001 Census).
The town itself has a number of historical buildings in it and it offers the visitor plenty of interest with good shops, restaurants, pubs and parkland, as well as cycling trails along the now disused railway line which used to run through here.
